Everytime doesn't matter if at a salon or at home it still turns and has lots of green. I want to go back to natural color and go to brown and then add blonde highlights. I just want this to be done for purpose of not having to go to the salon every 6-8 weeks for color job. I don't have the time. Please help!!

First make sure that you aren't using anything with "ash" in it. I found out the hard way that ash will turn your hair green when added to a blond. So make sure that "ash"(check with your beautician to see what the chemical name is) is NOT in ANY product you will put on your hair. Second, instead of going to the salon every 6-8 weeks, go once, have them strip the color from your hair and re-color it with the color that you want. Most times if your hair is turning green, it is the blond hair, that isn't accepting the new color, and it is going to be a process to get to the color you want. You may have to cut the ends (which are dead anyway), find a nice cut that suits you.

But don't rush it, if you do you will damage your hair.

yeh it happen to my sister she got her hair dyed and went in the pool and it turned green.

Use a warmer tone of brown hair dye. "ash or "cool" colors will turn your hair greenish looking. Go with warmer chocolate colors or brown/red colors.

you'll never get your natural color back. you should have never dyed it. If God intended for your hair to be a color other than what He gave you then he would have given you that color from the beginning!
