Hmmm. Chunks dont should good. Try streaks. Very small streaks everywhere.
But if you are doing it at home, I would be a little worried because a lot of times blonde dye that you buy from the store leaves a orange tint.
My best bet would be to get it done at a salon.

i think that you should have one dramatic chunk in the front, and one peekaboo which means one coming from underneath your hair, like dying one piece from the bottom section behind your ear, and maybe a few pieces on the side

Keep the top layer brown (of your fringe)
Then put a blond under layer - make sure the top layer is shorter so you can see the blonde!
OTHERWISE!
Do a complete under layer of your head in blonde.
