my friend has long straight hair and doesnt want to go really short. she at least wants to keep it passed her shoulders. she's short, with an oval face and she is a little "thick", please help me to help her!

In my experience, I've had better luck with thinking of a celebrity with hair that I like and looking them up on Yahoo Images than I did with looking at hairstyle sites.

....OR you can go to a specific hairstyle site. It seems like the ones that I've ever looked at haven't had good cuts that I've liked. They're just not as chic as I would like.

Hi I just went through this dilemma, .....I,m older as well and needed to update my look and wanting to keep my length,,, I have a round or square face......I had my hairdresser take 3 inches off the length, and do some light layering, and soft feathering around my face. I LOVE it.... Its still hitting my shoulders, but I'm able to clip it up still. If I go out I can use the curling iron on the layers which gives me volume, and a soft bounce to the hair. As well you can have a soft look around your face,,,,, by turning it under by a curling iron. This hair do gives me the length, but gives me a change to look different if I choose too,%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;Ocean
