Hair grows at the rate of about 1/2 inch per month in average people. I'm afraid there isn't any way to make it grow faster.

For your hairstyle, try a rootlifting spray and a "freeze" type gel. You may need to hold the hair up while it is drying or hang your head down so the hair dries standing up. Good Luck.
