it really depends on the person. some people might prefer one or the other, and for some people it's either-or. i personally prefer medium long, but not too long. and don't shave your head! most girls don't like it. but shouldn't you be happy with it yourself in the first place? i think you should choose whatever you like the best, after all girls don't really date guys just based on hair -- personality counts a lot too!

if it is medium it hasn't got to look unwashed-mesy although on some boys it looks cool!

but i kinda think hair 2cm away from your head is a good look.
