i have medium brown hair and i want to get some highlights. But i dont know what color i want something that is like kinda edgy or funky but not to crazy like dying my whole head orange. but something that is cool and kinda crazy.

Get a highlight/lowlight done. For the highlight use a caramel color and use a deep red for the lowlight. I did it and I have medium brown hair too and OMG everyone said I looked great. I thought I looked great too and thats really all that mattered. Get the colors thick more like streaks and it will give you that edgy/funky look you are goin' for.
