If you try to color again, it wouldn't do much at all. You can't really lighten hair over color. You would need to use a color remover first (You can find this at a beauty supply or pharmacy). You will be left with a reddish base color, and from there you will need to find the color you want. You will most likely need to use a high-lift color kit to achieve a medium blonde result. Remember to do your root area last, or you will be left with lighter hair on top!

no it probally would not turn green inless you go into chlorine water or something. but.. it would be better if you wait like a couple days just to be safe because when mixing chemicals in your hair you never really know what could happen

you dye to go darker and bleach to go lighter. putting a light color over a darker color won't do much at all. use either a bleach or a color remover, either can be found in the hair dye section of your local grocery store/pharmacy. even then you're more than likely going to be left with an orangey/red color, especially with a color remover. just remember when you're looking at dyes to cover up the brassy hair left by bleaches, it has to be dark enough of a color to cover the warm tones left behind. going dark is pretty simple, but when you're trying to lighten it's best to leave it to a salon.
